Continual: Whale-watching video

As you all know, I went for a trip to St Andrews to do some whale-watching. At first I thought they meant Killer Whales or Orcas. I mean, takkaaannlahhh paus sebesar-besar alam tu kan? I meannn.. whatt? Ridiculous lah kan?

You wanna know what's more ridiculous? Sebenarnya memang ikan paus yang besar tu! HAHAHA. . . . Dropped my jaws for a second when I got to know.

At 2.00 p.m. sharp we hopped on the double deck boat and headed off to the Bay of Fundy. Sounds funny kan? It's at the Atlantic coast of Canada.

Point A is Bay of Fundy, separating New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.

We got the chance to see the world's second largest whale (the largest is the blue whale), the finback whale. weighing up to 70,000 kg with length up to 25 m. I have the information pamphlet with me teeeheee.

Another whale we had seen was the humpback whale. It's approximately half the size of a finback whale.

Other sea creatures were the porpoises (something like dolphin but different), harbour seals and grey seals (the ones with polka dots all over), the bald eagle (effin huge), and a lot of birds.

This was a humpback whale. Nampak dia hembus air je haha. I didn't get the chance to record a finback. Other tourists got the chance to take pictures of a finback slapping its tail out but I was so seasick I was probably throwing up in the washroom. Ha...ha...ha...

Whale-watching @ St. Andrews, NB.

We started our day with a cup of coffee at Tim Hortons. As always: "Can I have a large sized, triple-triple coffee?"
2 cars, 8 people.
2 hours journey.
And the first thing we did was having brunch at a local restaurant where they serve seafood meals.
St. Andrews is a wonderful place. It's an excellent place for those who are retiring lah (hahaha). Semua warga emas je kot duduk sana. But nonetheless, it's still a terrific place to visit. I'm sorry the photos are all out of place. I'm trying this new blogger thing. So bare with me. I have a video of the whales. But that's gonna be in a different post. And the seasick, that's gonna be in another post as well.

seafood creamy soup. I can't recall the real name.

Ain and her desert; vanilla ice cream.
Seafood alfredo. It really looked good. . . before I threw it all out when I got seasick.
(A different story)

You gotta love this. French onion soup with bread and butter sideline.

some salad with berry sauce

Toodles E-town

At Whyte Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta.
Will be leaving E-town tomorrow. I'll be flying to Fredericton, New Brunswick. My new place.
As much as I hate this place, I think I'll miss it anyways.

Mistook me again

Ding dong.

N: Oh it's Canada Post
P: Hi, you have a delivery. We need a signature.
N: The person's not home. I can sign.
P: Sure you can but only if you're over 14. Are you?
N: . . . . . . . . Yes ;)

Waaaaaissssshhhh.

Hi, E-town. We meet again

Badabing badabong badabang, I'm back in E-town. Boh-ring! It's 9 degrees now. Quiet. Duh. 14 hours backward. I feel like I'm livin in the past.

My flight from Hong Kong to Vancouver was torturing! Leper bontot.
Nonetheless I enjoyed one thing, as always, the ANCHOR butter! Love love love. I remembered how me and D snuggled in a lot of packed butter inside our pockets in a coffee shop. We were too poor to buy our favourite butter: "I can't believe it's not butter" butter. Yes, that is the brand. I kid you not.

N: Cover up for me
D: Amik banyak-banyak sikit.

Lawllllss.

I'm on the couch now at Ainur's place. Tomorrow will be a busy day.
Going back to my house in 109 avenue. Probably to the West Edmonton Mall as well. And berbuka puasa dengan Kak Sa ;-)
